Home Delivered Meals

The home-delivered meals program at Easterseals offers seniors nutritious meals brought directly to the homes of older adults who may be unable to shop or cook for themselves. These services support seniors in maintaining independence, improving nutrition, and reducing isolation.

Easterseals provides home-delivered meals to homebound seniors in Mahoning and Columbiana Counties. Our trained and friendly staff delivers meals directly to the door.

How Do I Qualify for Delivered Meals?
You may be eligible to receive home-delivered meals at no cost if you meet the following qualifications:
•    Over the age of 60
•    Reside in Mahoning or Columbiana County
•    Homebound
•    Unable to prepare your meals
•    Lack other meal support services in the home or community
•    Have a paid meal benefit through your health insurance plan

How Much Does It Cost to Enroll?
Funding for this program is made possible through a contract with Direction Home of Eastern Ohio. Meals are free of charge for eligible individuals. However, funding does not fully cover the cost of delivering the meals, so donations are appreciated but not mandatory.

Easterseals offers a private pay option for those individuals who do not meet the criteria. The price is $7.00 per meal.
