School-Based Therapy

Easterseals offers School-Based Medical Rehabilitation Services to help students with disabilities and developmental delays reach their full potential in the classroom and beyond. Our services are delivered in coordination with school districts and tailored to meet each child’s unique medical, physical, and educational needs.

We offer individualized therapy and support services designed to help students access and participate in their educational programs successfully.

Our Services Include:

• Occupational Therapy (OT)
  Supports students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, handwriting, self-care, and adaptive strategies to enhance independence and participation in school activities.
• Speech-Language Therapy
  Assists with communication challenges, including articulation, language development, social communication, fluency, and feeding/swallowing disorders.
• Collaborative Team Approach
  Therapists work directly with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure therapy goals align with the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and classroom activities.
