SUMMARY:
Easterseals of Northeast Ohio is seeking an energetic and compassionate team player to serve as the Community Engagement Coordinator. The ideal candidate for this position would work 20 – 29 hours per week. This position will be required, but not limited to:

JOB OBJECTIVE:
The Community Engagement Coordinator organizes a variety of fundraising activities and special projects to help develop the resources necessary for Easterseals to carry out its mission.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Support and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and appeals (online and offline).
- Cultivate and maintain donor relationships through effective communication and stewardship.
- Identify and research potential funding opportunities, sponsors, and partners.
- Work in collaboration with the Angels of Easterseals to establish plans with specific goals and timetables for fundraising events.
- Create content for flyers, brochures, presentations, business cards, and annual reports.
- Assist the CEO and Board of Trustees in the development of an annual development plan.
- Regularly meet the goals of the annual fundraising and development plan.
- Update and maintain the agency website.
- Order and maintain promotional materials and supplies.
- Maintain donor and fundraising software systems, including donor correspondence.
- Ensure fundraising policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, and operating protocols are in compliance
- Collaborate with our external marketing vendor to develop digital marketing efforts including social media and email campaigns.
- Develop and nurture relationships with current and potential donors, businesses, community groups, partner organizations, and volunteer groups.
- Attend public relations events, agency meetings, and fundraisers.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, or donor relations (nonprofit experience preferred).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must have proof of auto insurance.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude with a desire to grow and learn.
- Experience with software programs for fundraising and development.
- Knowledge of graphic design or content tools.
- Displays a high level of motivation and a self-imposed standard of excellence.
- Collaborative and professional demeanor; able to work cross-departmentally and represent the organization publicly.

- Data driven mindset with the ability to use analytics to evaluate and improve campaigns.
- Comfortable engaging with donors, volunteers, and community partners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to craft compelling donor messages and marketing materials.
EQUIPMENT USED/MACHINERY REQUIRED TO OPERATE:
- General office equipment, including computers and applicable software programs.
- Operate a motor vehicle safely
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequently requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
- Occasionally exposed to loud/noisy environments.
FLSA Status – Non-Exempt/$30.00 per hour
Classification – Part-Time
